Introduction

This is a fresh start in the blog here at True North experience. I have decided to try something new and more personal than what existed here before.

In the articles that follow, I will be sharing certain elements of my own journey towards Awakening, a journey I am still on. Perhaps within these pages you will find inspiration for your own.

This sharing will not follow a linear pattern - I will likely bounce around as a result of following where Spirit leads me. I also will not be following a schedule - since I do not want this sharing to feel forced. Therefore, I won't know what I will share or when until I am called to. My journey has at times felt like climbing a mountain - with obstacles, detours, challenges, extreme discomfort, and disorienting and blinding whiteouts. I applied the same method I've used when mountain climbing - focusing on one section at a time and adopting a several-steps-at-a-time mentality - a process that keeps it all from feeling overwhelming. I've also had that uncompromising focus on my destination (the summit) and remain dedicated to the journey I am on. For me, there is no turning back.

None of us are on this journey alone. It does not work if we try to do it on our own. We need each other, and we need the Holy Spirit. Along my journey I have encountered helpers - whether it was a person, a book, or a nudge from Spirit - all have encouraged me, challenged me, helped me to heal, and propelled my mind along this path I find myself on. I have had experiences that felt out of this world and outside of time - I am no stranger to strangeness - but I have rarely been afraid.

Faith and Trust. These are two very fundamental words (or symbols) in my life. They have been instrumental in my ability to keep moving. I have complete Faith and Trust in my Teacher, the Holy Spirit, and my Guide, Jesus as Christ.

The process of creating True North experience became a key component of my journey as I was determined to be able to define what a "True North experience" is. I will share all this within the blog.

Every big and little experience I have had in this lifetime were necessary, as if my life had been perfectly scripted to get me to where I am today. When you open to Spirit you will find that yours has been as well - the Holy Spirit knows exactly what you need to awaken (whether in this lifetime or another) - that is His job. Trust His guidance.
